Genus: Schistura McClelland

Mouth moderately arched, lower lip usually with a median interruption but not forming two lateral triangular pads. Two black mark along the base of dorsal fin, body with black transverse bars, and split into many. Posterior nostril prolong into a tube in some.

Diagnosis: Sides of the body above lateral line dark, marked with bands, lighter coloured bands below lateral line.

Distribution: Changcheychhu (Tsirang)
