Genus: Aborichthys Chaudhuri
Body elongated and compressed. Vent placed far forward. Preorbital spine absent. Lips thick, continuous at the angel of mouth with lower lip interrupted in the middle.
Diagnosis: Origin of dorsal fin well behind insertion of ventral, dorsal fin with a median dark band. Bar on caudal peduncle complete, 3 bands on caudal fin fused together. Distribution: Torsa khola (Chukha)
