Neolissochilus dukai (Day, 1878)

Genus: Neolissochilus Rainboth

Body deep anteriorly, eyes on upper half of the head, Lower lip present medially; post-labial groove interrupted in the middle. Barbels two pair; cheeks with numerous tubercles.

Synony ms: Barbus dukai Day, 1878

Diagnosis: Dorsal fin rays 4/9, anal 3/5, pectoral 1/16. Lower labial fold widely interrupted in the middle; barbels two pairs, Scales large, 28-32 on the lateral line, sides of snout and cheeks studded with large tubercles. Distinguished from its congeners in having a much deeper body.
